Namu
Namu is the name of my Entrepreneurship Capstone team in my Senior year at Singapore University of Technology and Design. Namu is a startup that envisions a world where plant care is intuitive and enjoyable, fostering a deeper connection with nature through seamless plant monitoring and personalised guidance.
PeliCAN
PeliCAN was the name for my design team in my Junior year at Singapore University of Technology and Design. PeliCAN reflects the positivity of the design team in producing a solution for their client. The logo features a pelican - a large water bird known for its long beak and large throat pouch. The pelican is a common symbolism for Humility, Charity and Generosity, which signifies the design team's endeavour in designing a solution that facilitates the delivery of humanitarian aid.
The Logo for PeliCAN adopts a white, blue and golden yellow colourway. White represents the purity of the heart, blue symbolises peace, while golden yellow signifies the invaluableness of the help provided to the Last, the Lost and the Least.
NTBac
NTBac was the name for my design team in my Sophomore year at Singapore University of Technology and Design. NTBac echoes the antibacterial solution that the team was tasked to design for a Singapore hospital. In the local creole Singlish, the alphabets in "NTBac" also stand for "New Technology But also cheap", giving the team name a touch of locality.
The logo for NTBac adopts a red colourway which symbolises health and vigour.
The hidden figures in the logo represent two persons, symbolising the service that the design team envisions to provide to workers in the healthcare industry.
The single ribbon that makes up the letters 'N' and 'T' symbolises the seamless transition between departments within the hospital with the implementation of the final product.
ShakeAway
ShakeAway was a Concept Design generated by my design team in my Freshmore year at Singapore University of Technology and Design. It is a make-believe feature applicable to the Singapore-developed community-driven contact tracing digital system: TraceTogether.
The brand name "ShakeAway" is a play on the word "TraceTogether" and also gives a preamble to the function of the Concept Design - to enhance observation of Social Distancing through the vibration of handheld devices.
The logo design for ShakeAway mimics that of TraceTogether. Since the colour scheme for Tracetogether was red, the logo for ShakeAway adopts a green colourway to provide an antithesis.
The inscriptions on the left and right sides of the heart are 'S' and 'A' for ShakeAway.
The hidden figures in the logo represent two persons coming together, yet standing apart, depicting the observation of Social Distancing.
